IHI Direct Settlement Network

In order to better help their clients IHI Danmark has an extensive direct settlement network that allows all claims to be speedily settled with the medical facility directly. We have included a list of all these medical facilities below.

When visiting a medical facility within IHI’s network please follow the procedures outlined here:

  • Present your IHI membership card and proof of identification to the receptionist prior to the consultation.
  • Sign the Claim Form to acknowledge receipt of the treatment following the consultation.
  • Settle any co-payments, or deductible/excess payments with the clinic/medical centre prior to leaving.
  • For example, if your policy with us has a 20% co-payment for out-patient treatment, you should settle 20% of the total bill prior to leaving the clinic/medical centre. In such a case, if your total bill is $300, we will pay $240 direct to the clinic/medical centre and you will pay $60 following your treatment and prior to leaving the clinic/medical centre.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  1. The direct settlement network should not to be used to obtain any treatment, which falls outside the scope of your policy.
  2. The direct settlement network is dependent upon the level of cover that you have purchased from IHI.
  3. IHI Danmark will not provide cover for any membership fees that may be demanded by any medical provider.
  4. If you use a Hospital outside of the Network, please ask the Hospital to contact the insurer and they will arrange direct settlement.
