In-patient Claims

If in-patient treatment is claimed far enough in advance, in most cases the insurance company can arrange direct settlement with the medical facility. In the event that a policyholder requires hospitalization (in-patient treatment), it is advisable that they contact their insurer as soon as possible. 

An international health insurance policy will always cover you in the event of an emergency. If you cannot contact your insurer prior to being admitted to a hospital, make sure that you retain all of your original receipts and send a completed claims form to the insurance company.
